Plymouth Citybus to repaint 531

Good evening everyone

Just to let you know following on from Thursday’s post (http://www.busesaroundplymouth.co.uk/2018/03/citybus-repainted-pink-bus.html)
that Plymouth Citybus are going to repaint another  ADL Enviro 400 and this time it is WJ65 BYX (531) with a livery promoting a well known charity. I cannot reveal the charity at this time.

This bus will join 520 and 511 which have both been repainted into liveries for charities and there will be a photoshoot of the three Enviros when 531 has been repainted, although it will not be until later on in April.

It has been confirmed that after a launch event (details to be confirmed) the first route 531 will operate on after it has been repainted is a 14. Afterwards, it is set to appear on mainly routes in Plymouth and will also occasionally go to Cornwall.

So this leaves a few details. Which charity is 531 promoting? What are the details of the event and the photoshoot? More will be reve ales in tommorow night’s blog post.

We held a successful public open day on the above date. We offered refreshments and a facility to renew memberships along with a chance to purchase sales items and an all-important catch up with other members. Below are some highlights of the day. Thanks to all those who came along.

Citybus' repainted pink bus

Plymouth Citybus have just repainted one of their buses pink. The bus is 520 (WG63 HHY), an ADL Enviro 400 of Plymouth Citybus. Here are some photos of it. It is in a Brain Tumour Research livery.
