Some news from Plymouth Citybus
Hello everyone
Here is some news from Plymouth Citybus
Over the Christmas and New Year period, we’ll be putting our Christmas schedule in place to give our team a well-earned break.
You will still be able to find out all the latest bus times on our website and via the Plymouth CityBus app, and there’s an outline of our Christmas and New Year operating times here.
There will also be some changes to individual services between Monday 20th - Friday 31st December while the schools are closed, as we know fewer people will be travelling by bus. Services with changes are:
| 5/5A | Early morning services will run roughly ever half hour until 09:00 - the rest of the day runs as normal |
| 8/9 | Running every 15 minutes instead of every 10 |
| 20/20A | Some services not running: 07:09 from Cornwood Road 07:55 from Royal Parade 08:27 from Torbridge Road |
| 21/21A | Running every 15 minutes instead of every 10 |
| 34 | Revised journey times in the afternoons - refer to online timetables for details |
| 40/41 | Revised journey times in the morning and afternoons - refer to online timetables for details |
| 42/A/B/C | Revised journey times in the afternoons - refer to online timetables for details |
| 44/44A | Revised journey times in the afternoons - refer to online timetables for details |
| 61 | 16:10 from Royal Parade will run at 16:05 - five minutes earlier than usual |
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, some of our buses will be finishing at around 8pm and there will be no services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day to allow our drivers to spend more time with their families.
