Service changes due to the 5K, 10K & Half marathon

 Good evening everyone

Here are some service updates from Stagecoach South West

On Sunday 19th June 2022 the Half Marathon will be taking place this therefore some services will be diverted due to road closure's and restrictions in place.

 

All closures will be in place from 04:00 - 15:00 although some restrictions will be lifted as runners clear sections of the route.

 

The diversions are as follows:

 

FALCON

From Bristol

All Falcon services inbound from Bristol will operate from Marsh Mills to Manadon Roundabout then on to Outland Road, Milehouse & the Railway Stn they will then resume a normal route to the coach Station, 

 

To Bristol

A normal route will operate.

 

 

2/2A 

Service 2/2A Royal Parade (Theatre Royal Side) will be closed from 04:00 - 15:00 services will divert via Charles Street Cobourg Street - Western Approach and operate around the Cresent to the old Toys-R-Us Stop where they will then resume a normal route, This diversion is to be operated in both directions during the Marathon.

 

 

GOLD

Gold Services inbound from Marsh Mills will operate to Manadon Roundabout to Mutley Plain to Western Approach & to Royal Parade. Outbound trips will be following a Normal route.

 

 

 

We are expecting delays to our services due to traffic restrictions around the city. 

And Plymouth Citybus

Sunday Plymouth Half Marathon. Several Road closures including Royal Parade /Viaduct St Andrews to Derrys Cross side until 0930. All services will use Mayflower Street and Western Approach until this time and not Charles Street. Embankment Road and Hoe closed until 1400. #PCB21 #PCB21A #PCB50 #PCB51 (all directions) to and from Marsh Mills until 1400 via Laira and North Hill. Prince Rock area will not be served by these services during this time. #PCB5 #PCB5A from Plymstock via Charles Street and Mayflower Street until 0930 #PCB5 using Pomphlett Road 0930-0945. #PCB34 to/from Millbay via Martin Street /Western Approach and depart from here until 0930 (not serving Royal Parade). #PCB25 is suspended until after 1400 due to Hoe road closures. #PCB85 between Plympton and Plymstock the 0545 journey will operate through Sherford closure at 0620 but 0645 trip will not be able to serve Plymstock from Wolverwood at 0716 via Marsh Mills/Laira to North Hill.
