As the clocks go forward ...

Good evening everyone

Tomorrow, the clocks go forward one hour at 01:00GMT to 02:00BST (This info applies to the United Kingdom and if you are reading this blog outside the United Kingdom, this time (or even date) may be different)

So, what does this fact have to do with Buses around Plymouth, you may ask? There is a service run by Stagecoach called the South West Falcon and this route runs throughout the night, including when the clocks go forward.

This is what Stagecoach South West have to say on their website:

'Daylight savings times come into effect overnight 26-27 March. For our Falcon timetable services will start operating to DST from 03.30 onwards for journeys from Plymouth and 07.00 onwards for journeys from Bristol.'

Also, despite it being Easter Sunday, buses should be running to their normal Sunday timetables on their usual schedules. However, do note that there are changes to routes that are being introduced as well from tommorow.

Service 14 - Changes to route and timetable
After consultation with Plymouth City Council this route will run between Derriford Hospital and Plymstock Broadway East only. It will no longer serve Plympton. The frequency will remain as hourly.

Service 42 - Changes to timetable
Additional morning journey in both directions on the 42 service.

Service 46 - Changes to timetable
Reduction in service between Plymouth and Tavistock, minor changes on trips between Tavistock and Okehampton.

Service 79/79A - Changes to timetables
One afternoon trip from Tavistock to run 15 minutes later.

And last but not least, Happy Easter to all our readers to those that observe it.
