One of the various aspects in the bus industry in the UK is some places franchise bus their bus networks, where operators operate the routes. The main example is London's red buses which are operated by various operators. To a degree this also happens in Cornwall.
What has now been confirmed is that the same thing will happen in Plymouth. Bus companies will tender for various routes that operate in the city. The plan is that all buses which operate in the city will wear a green and white livery, similar to what is being proposed with the taxis (similar to the taxis mentioned in this link (https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/plymouth-news/plymouth-taxis-turning-green-white-6851577).
Please come back tomorrow for more information.
