A Story Of Plymouth Citybus' Enviro 400s

Between September 2013 and February 2014, Plymouth Citybus received brand new Enviro 400s for use on what was then the Blue Flash 12 and Red Flash 21 and 21A

Between February 2014 and July 2015, the buses were allocated as follows:
501-504 (WF63 LZA/B/C/D): Branded for Blue Flash and used on route 12 (and later on, the 42/42A/42B)
505-519 (WF63 LYO/P/R/S/T/U/V/W/X/Y/Z/ZE and WG63 HHV/W/X): Branded for Red Flash and used on routes 21 and 21A
520 (WG63 HHY): A spare bus that could appear on any route

Then, in September 2015, 11 new Enviro 400s appeared, 10 in Yellow Flash livery (WJ65 BYM/N/O/P/R/S/T/U/V/W), the other one in a swoop (WJ65 BYX). Also, the Blue Flash Enviro 400s were put onto other routes since that route switch to single decker operation. 501 and 503 became Red Flash buses, 502 went into swoops and 504 carried a Heart FM advert. Finally, 511 got repainted into swoops livery.

This is how the buses are currently allocated
501, 503, 505-510 & 512-519: Branded for Red Flash routes 21 and 21A
502, 511, 520 & 531: Spare buses that  can appear on any route
504: Heart FM advert wrap
521-530: Branded for Yellow Flash route 50

Citybus are also due 7 Enviro 400 buses (532-538, regs to be confirmed) this year
