The Colour Flash Clash at Citybus

Hello there again everybody. In this post I will be mentioning about the various coloured routes (i.e. the ones with the word 'Flash' in their name)

RED FLASH (SEPTEMBER 2013 -)
This route started off in September 2013 with the 21 and 21A getting 15 new double deckers (505-519). Since then 501 and 503 joined the Red Flash fleet in 2015 and 511 went into swoops livery.

BLUE FLASH (OCTOBER 2013 -)
This route started off in October 2013 with the 12 getting 4 new double deckers (501-504). In September 2014, the 12 became the 42/42A/42B and 3 single deckers (100-102) got repainted into Blue Flash Livery. In October 2014 another single decker (103) followed suit and four more (104-107) did so over Summer 2015. Also, the 42C was introduced as well with these buses and the 42 went only as far as Derriford instead of Tavistock. At this stage, 501 and 503 became spare buses for use on the Red Flash, 502 went into swoops and 504 went into Heart FM advert livery

YELLOW FLASH (SEPTEMBER 2015 -)
This route started off in September 2015 with  the 50 getting 10 brand new double deckers (521-530)

GREEN FLASH (JANUARY 2016? -)
This should be starting soon with new ADL Enviro 200's on the 5 and 5A.

So, you may be asking, what buses are on each route?
 Red Flash: 16 x ADL Enviro 400
 Blue Flash: 8 x Wright Eclipse Urban/Volvo B7RLE
 Yellow Flash: 10 x ADL Enviro 400
Green Flash: Mainly ADL Enviro 200s but possibly 1 or 2 ADL Enviro 400s
