Let me talk about two of PCTPG's heritage double deckers
We'll start with STK131T
131 - LEYLAND ATLANTEAN (ROE) "HENRY WINSTANLEY"
Summarising from the PCTPG website
- It was delivered on the 12th April 1979
- These were delivered in single door layout (as opposed to two door layout)
- It was a H43/31F (highbridge, 43 seats on upper deck, 31 seats on lower deck, front door only)
- It would get various advert wraps such as Phoenix Assurance
- It was a H43/31F (highbridge, 43 seats on upper deck, 31 seats on lower deck, front door only)
- It would get various advert wraps such as Phoenix Assurance
- It received a black strip added in 1992
- It was withdrawn in 1994
- The bus went to North Birmingham Busways and Edwards
- The bus got purchased by the PCTPG in 2006, who have restored the bus
