Last night I mentioned about the Leyland Atlanteans with X Suffix Regs

Here is a list of the Leyland Atlanteans, which just to summarise from last night:
- were new in either December 1981 (162-171) or March 1982 (172-174)
- seating configuration H43/31F (that being a highbridge, 43 seats on upper deck, 31 seats on lower deck and front entrance only) (All info courtesy of Bus Lists Around The Web)

Today I will be covering buses 171 and 172
171 - Leyland Atlantaen (East Lancs)
- It was delivered in a red and cream livery
- It received a red skirt/black and white livery in November 1988
- The black part of the livery got replaced with a white one.
- In 2002, a repaint would be carried out
- In the 1990s it would be used a lot on contracts and private hire
- It was the last Leyland Atlantaen in Plymouth Citybus, handing over to the PCTPG in October 2006
