Something From The Week - Plymouth Citybus Mufti Day Donations

Plymouth Citybus donate £3,000 to two local charities; Young Devon and Jeremiah's Journey

Plymouth Citybus were delighted to donate £1,500 to Young Devon and £1,500 to Jeremiah's Journey. The money was raised from the efforts during the annual Mufti Day event in December 2015.

Both charities were chosen by Citybus employees as their selected charities for the Mufti Day fundraising event.

During the event Citybus employees dressed up in various fancy dress. The response from passengers was fantastic and donations were given on and off the buses.

Citybus employees and Union representatives drove around the city in the vintage open top bus, spreading festive cheer and collecting donations.

Both Young Devon and Jeremiah's Journey were delighted with the money raised and thank Citybus employees and passengers for their efforts and donations.
